Business, media and sporting personalities assemble to launch the 2015 World Tennis Challenge Corporate Challenge.

In its eighth year, Australia’s largest corporate tennis event, the World Tennis Challenge (WTC) Corporate Challenge is being revitalised with a new timeslot and will now become a part of the newly formed Festival of Tennis set to take place at South Australia’s Home of Tennis, Memorial Drive from 20-22 November.

Featuring Tennis Australia’s innovative new FAST4 scoring format along with premier and social divisions, teams will be vying for the chance to play finals on the Memorial Drive Centre Courts, complete with Chair Umpire and Ballkids and the opportunity to win the ultimate money can’t buy experience at the 2016 World Tennis Challenge.

The one day event is part of the lead in to the World Tennis Challenge for event sponsors, corporate suite holders and external corporate businesses, with approximately 200 participants expected to play in a variety of tennis matches against each other throughout the day.

Chief Executive Officer Tennis SA, Steven Baldas is set to be joined by The Lord Mayor of Adelaide Martin Haese, along with local business, media and sporting personalities Karen Raffen, Mark Soderstrom and Jodie Oddy for an official media opportunity on the Riverbank Bridge on Tuesday 15 September.

Tennis SA, in conjunction with Tennis Australia and Next Generation Memorial Drive, will host the Festival of Tennis from Friday 20 November to Sunday 22 November.

Along with the 2015 WTC Corporate Challenge, the Festival of Tennis will celebrate the Asia-Pacific Tennis League, Junior Asia-Pacific Tennis League, Super 10s, 2015 South Australian Tennis Championships for People with a Disability and Win a Wildcard events, along with an ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Leagues Carnival.

“We are excited to announce that the WTC Corporate Challenge is now part of the newly formed Festival of Tennis,” said Steven Baldas, Chief Executive Officer Tennis SA.

“The Festival of Tennis is set to include seven participation events and will showcase all levels of tennis in Adelaide over the one fantastic weekend.”

Entries for the 2015 WTC Corporate Challenge are now open and will close on Friday 6 November 2015.
