Registrations are now open to enter into the pool of players from which participating National Tennis League clubs can select from.  The player registration period closes 5.00pm on Monday August 22^nd and can be only accessed via the online registration portal.

It is paramount that interested players must register by the due date as National Tennis League clubs (announced September 19^th) can only select from the official NTL player pool listing.  With in excess of $50,000 prize money up for grabs it’s expected an impressive NTL player pool listing will exist. 

The NTL is an innovative pilot that is being conducted by South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia in late 2011 and culminating in a National Playoff being held in Melbourne during the second week of the Australian Open in January.  Along with raising the profile of tennis on a national level, a primary objective of the NTL is to increase player income opportunities, and as such Tennis Australia is funding base player payments and team prize money tipped to be in excess of $50,000.
