Ossie’s Tennis Coaching caters for the needs of 400+ pupils per week in the Pakenham area.
We are seeking a reliable assistant coach to join our coaching team for term 1, 2017 and beyond starting with 2-3 afternoons per week with the option of increased hours throughout 2017.
TA qualifications or a strong desire to obtain is important.
Experience with junior group and private lessons is essential. Experience with Cardio Tennis would be a bonus.
Full support from level 2 and level 3 coaches is available with lesson plans and on-court advice/assistance available if necessary.
This position is perfect for a young coach looking to take the next step in the industry.
Pay is based on experience and qualifications with healthy incentives available based on retention rates and feedback.

Overview

We are a small country club with a very healthy junior membership. We require a coach as our current coach has just retired.
We have approximately 40 juniors that require coaching and also quite a few adults. The current coaching hours are approx 20 hours but this should increase.
We currently run hot shots with about 15-20 children participating. We would like our new coach to continue this and we are also interested in cardio tennis.

Senior Coach

Elite Tennis Academy based at the Mornington Tennis Centre is looking for a coach to join the team in 2017.

Mornington Tennis Centre is part of Civic Reserve Recreational Centre, and has 12 conipur clay courts.

The coach will be involved in such programs as:
– ANZ Tennis Hot Shots
– Cardio Tennis
– Private Lessons
– Adult Coaching

Our majority of our market is kids aged 5-12 years, therefore the coach must be able to have a strong connection with kids of these ages.

Hours will be approx 10-15 per week with option to extend to more, shall the applicant wish. Days will be dependant on the applicant availability and class demands.

There is also ability to work throughout the holiday period, as we have holiday clinics running every holidays.

We are looking for a long term coach, and someone that sees coaching as a career path.

There may be opportunity to be involved with working in our tournaments such as Pro Tour and Junior ITF events.

All uniforms will be supplied by the academy sponsors; Head and Nike.

Pay rate is based on experience, qualification and add on value to the business. Remuneration will be between $25-$35 per hour plus Super).
