Placed: 8 October 2021

Overview

Cooroy Tennis Club Inc. is seeking the services of a new club coach, following the retirement of our current coach. The new position would be available from January 2022.

The Tennis Club venue, part of a larger sporting precinct, is located in the growing township of Cooroy, the hub of the Noosa Shire hinterland. The well-maintained tennis centre includes four hardcourts, two of which have been recently resurfaced, a clubhouse, storage facilities for coaching, and recently installed LED lighting system for all courts. An integrated Book-a-Court system is soon to be operational.

Junior coaching services are currently delivered during after school hours, catering for a range of age groups. Lessons are conducted for both groups and for private tuition. Some assistance in coordinating junior fixtures is also required. Private lessons for adults are also conducted by the coach, with times, either day or evening, negotiable. Experience with Tennis Australia programs such as Cardio Tennis and Hotshots would be desirable. The club is governed by an active and supportive committee who would welcome such coaching initiatives.

* Coaching qualification(s) – (Tennis Australia)
