Applicants must be great at communicating and understanding primary school aged children. Adequate training is available if needed for all successful applicants.

Senior Coach

Overview

Dynamic Tennis is a small, private tennis centre operating out of Moreton Bay College & Moreton Bay Boys’ College. We deliver a wide variety of programs, including hot shots, junior development, squad trainings, cardio & social tennis, adults & school team trainings. Our clients range from 4 to 65 years old and include social players along with some highly national ranked juniors.

We are seeking a reliable, committed and experienced coach to join our team of 3 full-time coaches to assist with our mainly female clientele so experience in this area will be highly regarded. Experience stringing racquets will also be an advantage.

The primary role will be delivering school team training sessions, hot shots including squads, and private lessons.

The position requires a commitment of 15-25 hours/week including early mornings and some Saturdays, with potentially more depending on availability and experience. Hours and wages will be negotiable and will depend on the experience of the applicant.

Senior Coach

Overview

Looking for a tennis coach to take on approx. 28 hours per week to start and potential to grow to 40 hours. This position is for a senior coach that will act as assistant head coach of the venue.

The job will consist predominately of:
– Assisting with developing lesson plans
– Potential for building new programs and assisting in making the business grow
– Promoting competitions and leagues to existing clients
– Coaching all levels and ages

Tennis Coach

Overview

Somerset College is a large private school located in Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast. We deliver a wide variety of hot shots programs including motor skills, junior development, senior development, tournament specific pathways & cardio tennis / adult tennis.

We are looking for new members to join our growing team of 3 full-time coaches, the applicants should be passionate, reliable and motivated. The primary role of the successful applicants will be to coach children between the ages of 4-16 across a variety of sessions and work in alignment with Somerset’s interests.

The applicants will need their own reliable transport, blue card, coaching qualifications or experience. The position requires a commitment of 15-25 hours work weekly, with the possibility of more pending availability. The hours agreed on are decided for an entire term, so you will have a steady schedule, rain hail or shine. Additionally Somerset will offer school holiday work in the form of camps & clinics.

Overview

UQ Sport is seeking two permanent part time (21 hours per week each), enthusiastic & qualified casual Tennis Coaches to bounce the ball in our world-class tennis complex based at the University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus.

The roles will work across Monday – Friday including evening work, Saturday mornings and the occasional Sunday. With guaranteed permanent coaching hours, these part time roles will provide a consistent and high level delivery of coaching across the range of programs and sessions we have available.

As a Tennis Coach, you will deliver fun and interactive coaching sessions (private/group) to players of all ages and abilities, kids through to adults.

You will have a minimum Tennis Australia Junior Development Coach qualification or equivalent recognised qualifications and tennis coaching experience. You will be familiar with the different ‘colour’ stages of Tennis Australia’s Hot Shots program. Experience in Cardio Tennis is a plus. You will require a valid Blue Card and a current First Aid and CPR certification.

You will need to be confident, reliable and enthusiastic with all-star communication skills. Your exceptional sportsmanship and ability to build relationships with UQ Sport clients will ensure your ongoing success.

Regional Coordinator

Tennis For Kids is growing fast and we are looking for a new “Regional Coordinator” to deliver coaching and assist with the administration of our South-Brisbane region.

Our Regional Coordinators are employed full-time and paid a fixed salary of $65k p.a. (inc super) – Rain, hail or shine.

The position is full-time – 38 hours per week. Additional benefits include 6 weeks of paid holidays per year and incentives linked to performance. The role involves approximately 25 hours a week “on-court” – Delivering Hot Shots coaching, private lessons and fixture leagues. It also includes 13 hours per week “off-court” managing coaches and performing a variety of administration tasks under the guidance of our Operations Manager.
