We cater for children of all ages and abilities through to adults. The role requires versatility, coaching afternoon children’s group and squad’s, private coaching clients, ladies and men’s coaching clinics, Cardio Tennis, Tennis Anyone? Social tennis and tournaments, hot shots challenges, competitions and school holiday camps etc.

PTA manages numerous tennis facilities throughout Sydney and is a rapidly growing business with a strong client base.

The position is casual/permanent part time. 20+ hours on court available Monday – Friday (early mornings and afternoon/evenings) and Saturday (morning to early afternoon), including off court managerial duties.

Assistant Coach

Overview

Kim Warwick Tennis Academy boasts one of the most successful junior development programs in Australia. Nearly all of our top juniors are developed internally beginning in our Hot Shots program.

We are looking for a vibrant and energetic coach, mainly in our ever expanding Hot Shots level classes.

Minimum 10 – 20 hours work.

Must meet the following criteria:

• Working with Children Check
• First Aid Certificate

• Must demonstrate ability to motivate children in groups

Candidates must successfully demonstrate a practice lesson, or provide video of a 30 minute lesson.

If you are applying for the Head Coach Manager Role, you will be expected to be able to lead by example on court, provide training, advice and mentoring to other coaches. As well as strong leadership qualities, you will work well in a team and be able to provide and implement initiatives to assist the growth of the tennis business.

The successful applicant will be trained where necessary in all areas of tennis coaching. All Tennis Coaches have the opportunity to complete coaching qualifications through Tennis Australia. Pathways exist for management roles within our organisation for successful coaches.

Pay rates are based on experience and or qualifications. Coaches are required to undertake a Working with Children and Police Check.
