Join the Origin Tennis Head Coach Development Program as a Senior Coach in the South/East & Peninsula Region.

Exciting opportunity exists for the right candidate to become part of the expanding Origin Tennis Team. Origin Tennis is a progressive tennis coaching company leading the way in community engagement and opportunities for career minded coaches. Our main focus is developing tennis clubs and creating careers for tennis coaches that want to be part of a professional team. Currently 20 – 25 hours of coaching per week is available with potential for more hours due to the undertaking of new venues.

The Position

•You will need your own vehicle and be punctual, paying attention to detail and a great communicator with children and parents.
•You have experience in delivery of cardio tennis and in-school programs.
•You have a passion for tennis and want to make tennis coaching a potential career!

Senior Coach/Team Leader

Overview

Mornington Tennis Centre is the largest Conipur Clay Court Facility in Victoria, with 12 courts, and is the leading centre for tennis on the Mornington Peninsula.

Elite Tennis Academy based at Mornington Tennis Centre is seeking a Senior Coach / Team Leader to join the team.

The coaching aspect of this role will be based around working as the Team Leader for the Junior Development Squad Program (Tiers 3 & 4). These squads are run twice per week and consist of players at club / tournament competition level.

This role will include working with the Team Leader of Tiers 1 & 2 for lessons plans / structures, and be responsible for the assistant coaches working within their Tiers.

The coach will also be required to conduct coaching hours in additional programs such as;
•ANZ Hot Shots
•Private Lessons
•Group Lessons

Mornington Tennis Centre currently hosts many tournaments and events including:
•ITF Pro Tour Tournaments
•ITF Junior Tour Tournaments
•Australian Money Tournaments
•Australian Junior Tour Tournaments
•Tennis Victoria Regional Team Events

With many tournaments / events being held throughout the year at MTC there is an opportunity for the coach to become involved in the running / admin side of these tournaments if desired.

•Reliable & on time
•Have a passion for coaching with a long term vision within tennis
•Communication as a team leader to assistant coaches and to parents
•See coaching / management in tennis as a career path
