About the role
Reporting to the Head Coach (Melbourne Park & Albert Reserve) you will be responsible for:
– The delivery of quality programs and performance outcomes across a range of tennis world programs (School Programming, Holiday Camps, ANZ Hot Shots, Performance Squads, Cardio Tennis, etc)
– Promoting a quality and enriching coaching experience for each student, each lesson
– Providing opportunities for student progression and skill development through a range of learning and feedback methods
– Providing effective communication to coaching participants both on and off the court and ensure correct communication procedures are followed
– Ensuring all coaching equipment is handled in an effect manner, including presenting a clean, uncluttered coaching storeroom at all times
– Maintaining high standard of customer service across Tennis World coaching programs

About you
What you will bring to the role:
– Availability and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
– Experience coaching players at all levels (Hot Shots through to Performance Level), as well as adult coaching experience (both groups & private)
– A good understanding of Tennis products and brands, in particular Racquets and string specifications
– Proven knowledge of technique and on-court decision-making strategies
– Ability to manage, evaluate and relate to personnel and players
– You will be a Tennis Australia Registered Coach
– You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
