Overview

The Meehan Tennis Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our coaching team. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to deliver all aspects of our coaching program from Hot Shots to High Performance.

We are seeking someone with previous coaching experience and Tennis Australia’s Junior Development Qualification would be favourable, but definitely not essential.   • Support the development plans of Zone Squads, National Development Squads, and age and gender-based teams competitions selected players

  • Align and work with the National Development Squad Coach to ensure the transition of talented Zone Squad players to the National Development Squad and subsequently into the National Tennis Academy

The Elsternwick Park Tennis Centre (EPTC) is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Coach to take on full-time working hours (38 hours per week). THE ROLE
• Be a FULL TIME coach with availability to work all hours Monday to Friday 38 hours or more per week with all abilities: Hot Shots, Cardio, Adults to Developmental squads.

About the Facility:
Mornington Tennis Centre has 12 conipur pro clay courts, large club house / function space, and is built on Civic Reserve – Mornington’s Sporting Facility Precent, which include: an athletics track, soccer fields, bowling, gymnastics, basketball stadium, table tennis and more. Aside from coaching programs, we deliver tournaments including Pro Tour and Junior ITF events annually.

Head Coach Role:
The Head Coach role will predominantly focus on the development of our Squad Programs on both the Development Squads and Performance Squads. The coach will also be expected to deliver private lessons – with the majority of these private lessons being those players who are currently part of the squad program. The coach may be called upon to deliver some group lessons if required. The coach will also have the opportunity (if desired) to be involved with tournament delivery, including travelling to tournaments with players.

Admin Support Team:
All back of house admin including bookings, invoicing, promotions, etc. is all done by our admin team, which the Head Coach can utlitise at any time to assist in their position.

Overview

We are seeking a new Senior or Assistant coach to be a part of Slamin Tennis and Fitness, operating in the Eastern Suburbs – Doncaster and surrounding suburbs.
Position available for an immediate start.We specialise in the program development of players of all abilities for kinder children to high performance players, ladies groups, Hot Shots, Teenagers, adults effectively anyone who wants to learn the game. We have a large focus on groups and the friendship and connections within these group settings.This position is a permanent part time employee position, engaged under the Sporting Organisations Award 2021. Coaches can select to come on board for one day a week., multiple days, or a selection of hours to suit their availability. Additional pathway for full time. Saturday coaching hours are available, we appreciate Saturday is a difficult day to get on court due to local competitions.We do have court availability and hours ready for you. If you are a younger coach, you will be welcomed and mentored by an eager team of Club Professional coaches, with a passion in aiding and mentoring younger coaches.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Expected to participate in all on court programs
• Travel between venues, (3-7mins apart)
• Arrive early to set equipment up and greet students
• Actively promote and grow participation numbers
• Plan every lesson with purpose and specific goals for student progressions
• Be confident coaching beginners, children, adults.Qualifications and Experience
• Tennis Australia Coach Member (or equivalent) or willing to be one
• Tennis Coaching experience is a MUST
