Origin Tennis is looking for to recruit an experienced coach to work in the inner north/western suburbs.

We have 5 afternoons p/week and weekends of coaching available as well as other programs running through the day and morning and holiday periods.

The applicant must be confident in delivering sessions for a variety of ages and standards and be able to coach:

We are looking for someone passionate, who is able to work within a team of other coaches and will help to grow the program.

Applicants who are also able to deliver school programs and willing to get involved in delivering to students with mental and physical disabilities
will be looked upon more favourably.

This role is a stepping stone for career orientated coaches that would like to become a professional Head Coach with Origin Tennis.

Vida Tennis is looking for a coach to join our team in March- April 2021. The role will primarily be based out of Essendon TC but may include some time at other Vida venues.

Assistant Coach

In2tennis is looking for an assistant coach to work at Aintree Tennis Club. We have experienced rapid growth and as a result we require a career minded coach with a bright personality who is looking for 20+ hours to begin with. Hours can expand rapidly as desired.

The coach will need to be comfortable running hotshots group lessons. However, a coach that is capable of running adult group lessons, cardio tennis, school clinics and privates would be a bonus and will get more hours.

This crucial role within the Aligned Leisure operations of the Cardinia Shire Major Recreation Facilities contract will lead the implementation of tennis programs and coaching throughout the Shire. An important member of the Tennis team to grow and develop the coaching programs and Pakenham Regional’s profile in the Shire.

The Senior Tennis Coach will lead a team of tennis professionals to deliver exceptional service to the customer and will strive for continuous improvement. They will oversee the Pakenham Regional Tennis Centre Coaching and Programs.

They will work relentlessly to support implementing the Aligned Leisure values of AWARE, DISCIPLINED, RELENTLESS and UNITED.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Implementation and Development of Coaching Programs
•Implementation of ANZ Hot Shots, Fitbit cardio tennis programs
•Implement coaching programs for youth, adults and access all abilities
•Provide lesson plans each term for all aspects of the coaching program
•Drive and increase the number of participants across all coaching programs by the agreed KPI each year
•Implement and plan school coaching programs for schools in Cardinia Shire.
•Establish new coaching programs based on community needs
•Assist to implement and develop the player pathway with the Head of Sports & Stadiums
•Implementation of ANZ Hot Shot Match Play
•Implement junior development squads
•Run and develop school tennis programs with local Cardinia schools

2.Coaching and Program Development
•Delivery of coaching and other programs in accordance with annual plans
•Support the implementation of group fitness programs in like with Cardinia Leisure programs
•Implement a structured coaching plan to meet customer needs and develop tennis talent
•Mentor tennis coaches and conduct Professional Development for coaches a minimum of twice per term
•Conduct coaching sessions on a daily basis for all levels and abilities
•Attend Tennis Australia Coach Development workshops
•Provide programs in line with Tennis Australia’s program guidelines
•Develop and maintain coaching qualifications through Tennis Australia’s continues Professional Development
•Conducting private coaching lessons

3.Secondary Services
•Promote the benefits of PRTC memberships
•Promote PRTC pro shop and assist to increase sales
•Increase take up of PRTC internal and external tennis competitions
•Promote the use of PRTC casual court hire facilities
•Promote coaching participants to participate in all PRTC tournaments

4.Outstanding service delivery to all customers and stakeholders

5.OH&S and cleaning
•Conduct daily inspections of tennis courts and surrounding areas to provide a safe welcoming environment.
•Make sure all equipment is safe and useable for people of all ages.
•Ensure courts are clean before and after each coaching session.
•Adhere to Tennis Australia policy’s (wet weather, heat policy, code of conduct).

6.Customer Service Desk responsibilities
•Provide the frontline service for all facility programs and services.
•Proactively address all enquiries, ensuring that suitable outcomes are provided to each individual customer.
•Look for upsell and cross sell opportunities based on individual needs.
•All administrative duties that are required as part of a successful frontline function.
•Capture all data at point of all program and service enquiries.
•Identify “at risk” members and advise the Head of Tennis
•Personal follow up of non-renewals as requested by the Head of Tennis.
•Personal follow up of membership questions or complaints where non-renewal may be likely.

The Senior Tennis Coach may from time to time be required to undertake other tasks as directed by the Head of Sports & Stadiums.
