Fantastic Opportunity for an experienced coach to take primarily Private Lessons and Squad

Current hours are:
Wednesday 3.45pm- 7.30pm
Thursday 4- 8.30pm
There is potential for additional day (s) including weekday morning (s)
The lessons are established and long term clients.

As director, everything will be done to ensure a successful transition and partnerships. The applicant would need to be available to coach both days once before end of term 4 to ensure the fit is right for the incoming coach and current clientele. In addition, coach would need be available to coach the Holiday clinic 18- 22nd January, 2021. Term 1, 2021 starts from Thursday 28th January. The coaching program is well established with a client base in excess of 300 participants per week operating 6 days per week. The courts are Blue and Green Synthetic grass. Pay is weekly and negotiable based on experience and qualification. Superannuation is also paid quarterly.

The Victorian Tennis Academy [VTA] is looking to appoint a senior coach to join our growing team. This person needs to be enthusiastic and a highly motivated tennis professional who can lead, support and develop our coaching program.

VTA operates in The City of Melbourne at Fawkner Park Tennis Centre, which sees over 600 players participating each week in a range of coaching programs including Hot Shots and Cardio Tennis. VTA’s strives to deliver inspiring, inclusive tennis experiences and we are looking for an active, fun and enthusiastic team members to create a great environment.

Qualities
• Tennis Australia Junior Development or international equivalent or higher is required (or willingness and ability to acquire this level within 12 months.)
• TA membership inc. Working with Children’s Check, Police Check and current First Aid are essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for developing people and the game of Tennis.
• Prepared to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Warragul Tennis Club is situated in the Baw Baw Shire, surrounded by beautiful farmland which provides lovely fresh produce. It is a rapidly expanding rural community an hour drive from Melbourne, the coast and the snow.

The Warragul Tennis Club is a community-based club which welcomes any new members or volunteers to the club. Senior Coach

Overview

We are seeking a new superstar coach to be a part of Slamin Tennis and Fitness, operating in the Eastern Suburbs – Doncaster and surrounding suburbs.

Position available from November 9th, some availability earlier for right person. We specialise in the program development of players of all abilities for kinder children to high performance players, ladies groups, Hot Shots, Teenagers, adults effectively anyone who wants to learn the game. We have a large focus on groups and the friendship and connections within these group settings.

Coaches able to come on board for a few hours, a few day’s a week, or every day of the week. (Our company has an equal opportunity for employment policy, and are extremely flexible to accommodate employees.)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Expected to participate in all on court programs
• Travel between venues, (3-7mins apart)
• Arrive early to set equipment up and greet students

Head Coach

Vamos Australia – Melbourne

We are looking for expressions of interest for our Head Coach position to teach private tennis lessons at residential, apartment and hotel tennis courts within Melbourne once it is safe and legislation allows us to coach at clients residences again. We are hoping to restart our coaching program from December 1 if the COVID-19 situation in Melbourne allows. We currently have about 10 hours of private lessons on offer but will grow to full time hours over summer.

The successful applicant will have at least Tennis Australia Junior Development coaching qualifications but Club Pro is preferred. We are looking for an ‘all-rounder’ coach is who can teach from beginner to high performance. You must have a minimum of 3 years private tennis coaching experience, your current blue card, police check, first aid and CPR certificates.

Assistant Coach

Overview

The role involve coaching kids and adults in small numbers as well as some private coaching.

At this stage the coaching will be mainly 3.30pm onwards into the evening and weekends but ideally you will live close by and be able to coach during the day when required. The work will be predominantly private lessons with players of varying standard so it is important that all applicants are strong players themselves. There is also work available on weekend mornings.
All up to begin with we can offer applicants between 10-15 hours of coaching to begin with room to increase this especially over summer.
All applicants must have a valid Working with children’s check, first aid certificate and a Junior Development or equivalent qualification. Pleasant friendly nature is required with fluent English speaking vocabulary. Hourly rate will be based on qualifications and experience.
