There are plenty of Australians on Wimbledon’s day five schedule, with 11 featuring in doubles action.

Wildcard pairing Lleyton Hewitt and Jordan Thompson face a second-round showdown with third seeds and last year’s finalists Raven Klaasen of South Africa and his New Zealand partner Michael Venus.

Alex de Minaur and Matt Reid also have a challenging draw – facing 2017 champions and top seeds Lukasz Kubot from Poland and Brazilian Marcelo Melo.

Nick Kyrgios is back in action after his high-quality four-set loss to Rafael Nadal, partnering American Desirae Krawczyk in a first-round mixed doubles match.

Sam Stosur, who last week returned to the world’s top 10 in doubles for the first time in nine years, is partnering Indian veteran Leander Paes in the mixed doubles competition. They face a British wildcard pairing in the opening round.

The two remaining Australians in the Wimbledon singles draw – world No.1 Ash Barty and John Millman – both have a day off to prepare for their third-round matches on Saturday.
