5 April 2017 | Tennis West

On our CBH Group Regional Roadshow this year Tennis West Participation Leaders, Ardi and Brett visited 4 clubs and 4 schools from the Midwest, North Midlands and Moore Districts zones. On Monday, March 20th, Tennis West visited Walkaway Tennis Club and ran a Fast 4 Doubles Social Night with a great turnout filling 5 courts the whole evening. It was a great way to start out the CBH Group Roadshow!

On Tuesday, March 21st, Ardi and Brett travelled to Our Lady of Carmel in Mullewa and held tennis clinics for over 70 students ranging from year 1 through year 5. On Tuesday evening Tennis West hosted junior clinics and a cardio session for the adults at Mingenew Tennis Club, with over 20 juniors and 2 full courts for the adult cardio session.

On Wednesday, March 22nd, Brett and Ardi headed to the town of Eneabba where they visited the primary school during the day and club at night. We hosted all the students in the school (25) ranging from age 5-12. It was such a fun day out with all the students excelling in our schools competitions. In the evening we hosted over 15 children for some more ANZ Tennis Hot Shots coaching followed by a competitive group of cardio tennis enthusiasts filling 3 courts. Eneabba Primary School and tennis club were gracious hosts and it was an awesome day leading into the final day of the roadshow.

On Thursday, March 23rd, we had our last schools visit to St Joseph’s Moora. We had huge numbers, with over 100 students and some intense match play for the year 5’s and 6’s! From the school we ended on a big high note hosting a Fast 4 Doubles Night at Wannamal Tennis Club. We had a total of 36 players on the evening with some amazing tennis displayed from all players ranging from Wannamal, Yerecoin, Gingin Tennis Clubs. It was an amazing way to end a successful CBH Group Roadshow.
