2017 Community Sport and Recreation Facilities Fund
Every year a number of tennis clubs and local government authorities make an application to the Department of Sport and Recreation for Community Sport and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) grants. The department has three types of CSRFF grants, these being;
- Small Grants: $2,500 to $66,666 are allocated to basic level planning
- Annual Grants: $66,667 to $166,666 are allocated to projects with a planning and construction process that can be completed within 12 months
- Forward Planning Grans: $166,667 to $2,000,000 are allocated to large scale projects that exceed $500,000 and have an implementation process that may exceed one to three years.
Tennis West in its capacity as a State Sporting Association are invited by the Department of Sport and Recreation to contribute to the CSRFF assessment process. Our contribution to the assessment process is always more informed if we have prior knowledge and understanding of a project. It is also possible that by involving Tennis West in the development phase of your grant applications we will be able to provide assistance to maximize the likelihood of a successful grant application.
Tennis West have a number of staff who have extensive experience with sporting projects, an understanding of local government and the development of grant applications. This is a resource that is available to all clubs and local government authorities around the state who are contemplating making an application for CSRFF funds.
