As the national body for tennis, we are committed to supporting local governments in ensuring the best possible provisions for our sport and local communities. That’s why this month, Tennis Australia will release its first ever tennis facility strategic planning framework specifically for local governments. Planning for tennis in your Local Government Area planning framework forms part of Tennis Australia’s broader National Local Government Engagement Program.

The framework is an easy to use, template style document that once completed will provide local governments with a tennis facility and participation strategy that aligns with both the strategic directions of the local government and the strategic direction of Tennis. The framework will be provided for free to local governments who partner with Tennis in the development of their tennis infrastructure planning.
