So you thought the Australian Open was just for pros? Now is your chance to take your game to a new level and have a shot at winning a wildcard into the mixed doubles event at Australian Open 2016.

 

The WA qualifying rounds will be held on Sunday 8th November at the State Tennis Centre.

**Hurry entries restricted to the first 24 pairs in each division.

 

Winners of the A grade progress to the national playoffs on Sunday 20th December at Melbourne Park.

B and C grade winners will be invited to the Australian Open for an experience including:

  • Tournament accreditation and access to player areas
  • Play on AO match courts and behind the scenes tour

 

That’s right, you could be hearing the roar of the crowd at Melbourne Park in January as you and your partner step out to play the first Grand Slam tournament of the year. The Win a Wildcard mixed doubles competition kicks off at 8 venues across Australia from November. There are three grades available for entry that cater to a range of playing levels, so everyone can have a go.

This is a round robin Mixed Doubles event. Each match will be a single set of FAST4.

Entries for each grade are limited to 24 pairs.

Draws for each grade will be determined by player ratings.

Tournament committee reserves the right to combine grades if not enough entries.

C Grade – 9am – 12pm

B Grade – 12pm – 3pm

A Grade – 3pm – 6pm
