Tennis West Vice President – Dr Pam Cresswell

Chair – Risk and Governance Committee

With a PhD in Education, a Master’s in Health Administration, a Graduate Diploma of Business, a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) from Curtin University and as a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Dr Pam Cresswell was elected to the Board in 2019.

Having worked in executive roles at Curtin University as the Head and Deputy Head of the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine before her retirement from full time work in 2014. Pam continues at Curtin University as an Adjunct Professor and offers extensive senior executive experience in leading and delivering on strategy and governance, with expert competence in planning and execution, risk assessment and professional regulation.

Her past board positions include five years as Curtin University’s representative on the Nurses Board of Western Australia and Chair of Practice Committee which was responsible for establishing professional practice standards for nurses and midwives in W.A.

Growing up as passionate tennis player and fan, Pam has been a member of the Peppermint Grove Tennis Club for some 26 years. As both a social and pennant player, Pam has been involved in the Club committees since 2002. She was Ladies Captain from 2015 to 2017 before taking on the Presidency in 2017 a position she held until 2021.

Dedicated to ensuring a welcoming and engaging club culture, Pam is committed to offering a variety of coaching and playing opportunities, engaging with the local community and is driven to provide clear pathways for junior development and participation.
