Tony holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Diploma of Applied Geology and Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment alongside and joined the Tennis West Board in 2019.

With a strong professional focus on compliance, IT and orgisnational culture, and as the founder and former Managing Director of CPS Capital Group Pty Ltd (Australia’s largest microcap broker and WA’s fourth largest stock broking firm), Tony’s experience includes Director roles of a number of ASX listed companies including Lindian Resources Ltd, Thin Technologies Ltd and Mbox Ltd. Additionally, Tony founded ASX listed companies HotCopper (The Market Herald) and Complii Fintech Solutions Ltd.

With a strong family history of tennis in WA, Tony was a talented junior player who claimed many junior tournament titles in additional to numerous Club Championships at Alexander Park TC, UWA TC and City Beach TC. Receiving a tennis scholarship to the University of Nebraska, Tony played in the NCAA Division 1 competition. With junior coaching experience spanning a number of years, Tony has worked with a number of Perth coaches including Arthur Marshall.

As President of the UWA TC between 2001 and 2003, Tony was instrumental in the raising the required $1.2 million to fund the clubs new club house, car park and six clay courts. Working closely with a variety of stakeholders including Tennis West, the Labour Government and the University, Tony understands the importance of building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships for the betterment of the tennis in WA.
