As part of the Inaugural Governor’s Charity Tennis day held at Cottesloe Tennis Club, some of the money raised from the event is being used to support the Murlpirrmarra Connection program run by Darren Patten.

Paul Oldfield, Community Tennis Officer, travelled out to Wiluna to meet with Darren and to see the work undertaken through the program at this remote town.

A special thanks goes to Tennis Australia who kindly donated MLC Tennis Hot Shots equipment packs and one of these packs is now being used by more than 40 indigenous children at the Sport and Recreation Club.
