Australians Bernard Tomic, Lleyton Hewitt, Marinko Matosevic, Matt Ebden and Casey Dellacqua will attempt to join compatriot Sam Stosur in the second round at Roland Garros when they take to the Parisian clay on Tuesday.
Tomic finds himself on the most glittering of showcourts, taking on home favourite Richard Gasquet on Court Suzanne Lenglen, while Marinko Matosevic will be looking to capture his first ever Grand Slam main draw win when he takes on the flamboyant Dustin Brown of Germany.
Doubles action also gets underway on Day 3, with Victorian John Peers partnering Scot Jamie Murray.
