Australia’s World Junior Tennis boys’ team has won its opening match at the Asia/Oceania Final Qualifying competition in Thailand.

Australia defeated Malaysia 3-0 on Monday, and will next face Indonesia on Tuesday.

Alex Bulte and Philip Sekulic both scored straight-sets wins to give the green-and-gold an unbeatable 2-0 lead.

This was soon extended to 3-0 when Bulte combined with Enzo Aguiard to win the doubles rubber in straight sets.
