Tennis Queensland is calling for nominations for upcoming vacancies on its Board of Directors. We invite individuals with a passion for sport and community leadership to nominate to join the Board to help guide the strategic direction of tennis across Queensland.

In line with Tennis Queensland’s current Board Skills Matrix, the following areas of expertise have been identified as priorities for the 2025 election cycle:

• Finance
• Governance and directorship expertise (GAICD preferred)
• Tennis facility management

Nominees with experience in these areas are strongly encouraged to apply. The Nomination Committee, established by the Board under Tennis Queensland’s Constitution, will assess all nominations and provide recommendations aligned with the organisation’s strategic priorities and identified skills and experience needs.

Elections will be held for the following Board positions at the upcoming Tennis Queensland Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held on Saturday 8th November 2025:

• Two Elected Director positions (three-year term)

Following these elections, the Tennis Queensland Board of Directors will appoint one further Board positions at the first Board meeting following the AGM:

• One Appointed Director position (three-year term)
