Phase one of the Sunshine Coast Regional Tennis Centre-At Caloundra was officially opened on Saturday the 21st of March with a ceremony put on by the Sunshine Coast Council. Nine new hard courts were built over the back end of 2014 with the courts opening for play in mid December.  Phase two and three of the new build will done in the future which includes additional resurfacing of existing courts as well as a brand new clubhouse.
