More than 200 representatives from over 100 affiliates attended Tennis Queensland’s President’s Morning Tea hosted by outgoing President, Ken Laffey today at the Brisbane International.

The function attracted attendees from as far away as Innisfail, Cairns and Home Hill and was a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements and communicate about plans for the year ahead.

Ten thousand dollars worth of grants were also awarded to assist three affiliates with facility improvements or increasing membership at the function.
The 2015 grant winners are:
$4,000 Gold Coast Albert Junior Tennis Club
$3,000 Fraser Coast Tennis
$3,000 MudgeerabaTennis

Steve and Trish Griffin (Metro) were also awarded the prize for early bird affiliation.
