On Saturday morning the 8th of November, Tennis Queensland in conjunction with Tennis Australia and the AO Blitz, hosted the Great Tennis-Tacular in Tickle Park at Coolum Beach.

Nearly 1,500 people from across the Sunshine Coast stopped in to check out all of the activities offered including free tennis, ANZ Tennis Hotshots, speed serve, hit the target, photos with Terry the Tennis Ball and Brisbane International trophies,  jumping castle, face painting and tennis info booths.

The 3 hour event was held to promote the game of tennis and showcase the game of a lifetime.  Many coaches and clubs were well represented on the day including Ash Tennis and the Coolum Tennis Club, Jamie Fletcher and the Palmer Coolum Resort Tennis Centre and the Sunshine Coast Ladies Midweek Tennis Association.
