Today the First Medibank JDS event was held at the Cairns International Tennis Center.

The Under 11’s and 13’s events were closely contested with the 11 and under girls having a 3 way tie at the end of the pool stgae and needing a 10 minute Queen of the court battle to decide their positions.

The 13 & Under boys had a very strong field finishing with a great final between Josh Barber and Evan Fielder.

11 & Under Girls Winner: Jade Valmadre – Runner Up: Annika Frew

11 & Under Boys Winner: Jake Hull            – Runner Up: Kanata Miyamura

13 & Under Girls Winner: Leacy Argent    – Runner Up: Sophie Stafanon

13 & Under Boys Winner: Josh Barber      – Runner Up: Evan Fielder

Congratulations to all the Competitors today everyone played very well and the the sportsmanship on show was great to see from the 2 age groups.

Tomorrow the 15’s 17’s, Orange and Green ballers get out on Cairns International Tennis Center courts to battle out for the seasons first points.
