The 2013 Middlemount Open was held on the 13th July with players coming from as far as the Brisbane. The event was very successful with the Open Men’s title taken by Emerald’s John Peacey and Open Women’s by Brisbane’s Kristen Gibbs.

The Open Men’s Doubles was won by John Peacey& Don Cameron, Open Ladies Doubles by Joelene Oosthuizen & Nikita Williams and the Open Mixed Doubles won by local coach Trevor Russell & Nikita Williams.

The day had events for all divisions and ages with a HotShots challenge of 14 young players participating in the event.

Congratulations to Middlemount Sports Community Association for holding a great event.
