The Xstrata Tennis Exhibition Tour started its journey in Sarina on Monday, 30^th April, then headed north, visiting Proserpine, Bowen, Charters Towers, and finishing up in Townsville on Friday, 4^th May at Kalynda Chase.

During the day, children at local schools received free MLC Tennis Hot Shots lessons.  This was followed up with a free tennis festival held in the afternoon at the local tennis club.  There were fun tennis activities, with lots of prizes to be won.  The big inflatable speed serve machine proved to be a popular choice for kids keen to see how fast they could serve. 

Locals also had the opportunity to watch some high quality tennis, showcased in an exhibition match between Jordan Jones and David Single.
