Aleksa Cveticanin has won her first national championship.

The Queenslander defeated top seed and doubles partner, Jaimee Fourlis from Victoria in a thrilling three-set final 6-3 5-7 7-5 in just over two and a half hours. 

Jaimee and Aleksa then teamed up to comprehensively clean up the doubles final over seventh seeds, Renee McBryde and Brooke Winley 6-1 6-0.
