Olivia Rogowska has moved within a win of the Roland Garros main draw after a come-from-behind victory in the second round of qualifying on Thursday in Paris.

Rogowska defeated 16-year-old Frenchwoman Tessah Andrianjafitrimo 3-6 6-3 6-4.

The win sets up a final-round qualifying match against Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia.

Rogowska’s compatriot Anastasia Rodionova also progressed to the final qualifying round after a dominant performance over Naomi Broady.

Rodionova brushed aside the Brit 6-1 6-1, and will take on Czech Andrea Hlavackova for a shot at the main draw.

In other Australian results, John-Patrick Smith went down in the second round of qualifying to Marius Copil.

Smith could not contend with the powerful Romanian, falling 6-3 6-4.
