Jason Kubler’s victory at the ATP Challenger event in Sibiu, Romania marks the 11th and biggest title to date of the 21-year-old’s career.
Continuing the excellent form that has seen him crack the top 200 in 2014, Kubler beat Moldova’s Radu Albot 6-4 6-1 in the final, dropping just one set all week en route to the title.
That came against seventh seed and former world No.27 Potito Starace in the semifinals; Kubler recovered to win 2-6 7-6(3) 6-0.
Earlier in the tournament, he ousted No.2 seed Albert Montanes 6-3 6-1.
The title in Romania has pushed Kubler up to a career-high ranking of No.155, a jump of 39 places.
