For the second straight week, Seone Mendez has reigned supreme in Antalya, Turkey.

The Australian 19-year-old took her winning streak to 10 after a 7-5 7-6(3) win over Japan’s Yuki Naito in the final of the $15,000 ITF event.

Mendez dropped just one set all week in a comprehensive display of clay-court tennis.

Her triumph comes just a week after winning another $15,000 tournament at the same venue.

With the introduction of the new ITF Transition Tour in 2019, $15,000 events no longer carry WTA ranking points.

Mendez, the world No.508, instead earns points toward her ITF ranking, which is currently No.437.

Yet she is set to soar into the ITF top 80 when her two titles in Antalya – which earn her 200 points – are counted in her ITF ranking.

That would make her more likely to gain entry into the main draw at ITF $25,000 events, which carry WTA ranking points.

Mendez, based in Spain, was an Australian Junior Fed Cup representative and cracked the world’s junior top 25 in 2015.
