There was plenty of success for Australia at the recent 2016 ITF Super-Seniors World Individual Championships in Croatia, with Aussies picking up Gold in the Women’s 65+ Kitty Godfree Cup, as well as silver in the Mens’s 80+ Gardnar Mulloy Cup.

The event, staged between 12-18 September in Umag, Croatia, saw over 500 players from 35 countries competing in singles, doubles and mixed doubles events in age categories spanning 65-and-over to 85-and-over.

The Super-Seniors Individual Championships are being held between 18-25 September with Australia hoping to continue their success from the world championships.

The Super-Seniors World Team and Individual Championships are the most premier events on the ITF Super-Seniors (65 and-over) Circuit.

Players aged from 35-and-over to 45-and-over compete in the Young Seniors Championships; from 50-and-over to 60-and-over in the Seniors Championships, and from 65-and-over and 85-and-over compete in the Super-Seniors Championships.
