Sam Stosur is the lone seeded Australian in the singles draws at the Olympic Tennis Event, beginning this Saturday.

The International Tennis Federation announced the men’s and women’s singles seeds on Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s draw ceremony, which will take place in Rio at 11am local time (Friday 12am AEST).

Stosur has been seeded No.13 in the 64-player women’s draw, behind top seed and Wimbledon champion Serena Williams, Australian Open champion Angelique Kerber (No.2) and reigning Roland Garros winner Garbine Muguruza (No.3).

The Queenslander will be joined in the draw by fellow Aussie Daria Gavrilova, currently ranked 46th.

Four Aussie men – John Millman, Jordan Thompson, Thanasi Kokkinakis and Sam Groth – will line up in the men’s event.
