The first event of the US Open Series, the Atlanta tournament features a 32-player draw and his headed by top seed and two-time defending champion John Isner.

The 69th-ranked Tomljanovic takes on qualifier Laura Pous Tio in her first-round match, and has a projected quarterfinal meeting with fifth seed Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
