Bernard Tomic and Thanasi Kokkinakis have won their final round qualifying matches to advance to the main draw of the ATP Toronto Masters.

Tomic, the third seed, recovered from a set down to beat No.8 seed Malek Jaziri of Tunisia, 4-6 6-1 6-4.

The Australian, who put on another brilliant serving display highlighted by 11 aces and no double faults, sealed victory in one hour and 53 minutes.

Kokkinakis progressed after top seed and compatriot Marinko Matosevic retired from their match; the Victorian had won the first set in a tight tiebreak before citing a shoulder injury.

Matosevic did however score a lucky loser entry into the main draw, joining Tomic, Kokkinakis, Lleyton Hewitt and wildcard Nick Kyrgios.

James Duckworth, the 11th seed in qualifying, fell 6-4 7-6(2) to Frenchman Benoit Paire in the final round.
