Sam Groth, Bernard Tomic and Matt Ebden will fly the Aussie flag at this week’s ATP event in Bogota, Colombia.

Ebden is the highest-ranked of the trio – seeded No.7 at the ATP 250-level hardcourt event – and will open his campaign against a qualifier.

In the quarterfinals he is projected to meet second seed Ivo Karlovic, the big-serving Croatian whom Ebden’s compatriot Lleyton Hewitt beat in the ATP Newport final at the weekend.

Groth, a new addition to the world’s top 100 this week, will look to continue his great form when he takes on Colombian wildcard Juan Sebastian Cabal.

Last week, the big-serving Victorian reached the semifinals in Newport in what was his best ever ATP result to date.

Should Groth beat Cabal, he would set up a meeting with top seed Richard Gasquet, who received a bye into the second round.

Tomic has received a wildcard into the Bogota event; the world No.124 will face off against Uzbekistan’s Farrukh Dustov in the first round.

The winner will meet either No.5 seed Alejandro Falla of Colombia of Japan’s Tatsuma Ito.
