Three Australians have advanced to the quarterfinals of the WM Loud Bendigo International before rain suspended play in Bendigo, Victoria.
In today’s upsets, Adam Feeney of New South Wales d eated No.4 seed James Lemke in straight sets while Alicia Molik (SA) was defeated by Hungarian Timea Babos in a competitive three-set match.
In other women’s second-round matches, Victorian Tammi Patterson progressed to the quarterfinals while Queenslander Alison Bai was knocked out in straight sets by No.6 seed Eirini Georgatou of Greece.
