USA Coach Tour 2024
Expression of Interest
Visit tennis clubs, US college and tournaments and participate in networking / learning opportunities with US coaches.
Dates: Monday 19 August – Thursday 29 August 2024
Locations: North Carolina (a University and Country Clubs) & New York (Winston Salem ATP Tournament, US Open and Tennis Clubs) USA (full schedule to be confirmed)
Tour fee: $6,600 (incl.GST)*
* Cost is an estimate at time of offer and is subject to change. The tour schedule is subject to change. No payment is necessary until your place on the tour is confirmed.
The tour will be led by tour leaders – Belinda Colaneri (Performance Coach Development Manager) and Adam Carey (Director of Coaching)
Tour fee includes access to key personnel, coaching and sporting businesses, accommodation, ground transportation, facilitated learning experience, US Open ground passes, pre tour virtual sessions and tour t-shirt/jumper.
Exclusions
Not included in the tour fee – flights, all airport transfers, personal leisure activities, travel insurance, food and beverages. These are all additional costs.
Learning Experience
Visit tennis clubs &/or private country clubs running colour-ball to adult coaching, Padel and Pickleball. Tour a US College and observe college tennis practice. Participate in roundtable discussions and professional development with USTA staff and private coaches.
Expression of Interest Criteria
Complete this expression of interest if you:
- Hold a current Tennis Australia Coach Membership
- Are Club Professional, Master Club Professional or Performance Coach qualified
- Operate, lease or own a multi-court tennis facility
- Hold a valid Australian passport and US ESTA (Visa)
Commitment
The tour is limited to 12 coaches and you must commit to the entire tour. You are welcome to include additional travel days before or after the tour but must attend the entire tour. Additional travel days will be at coaches own expense.

Tennis Australia has offered a number of coach tours over the past few years, most often performance based tours to Europe and the USA.
This USA tour is designed to be more participation focused creating opportunities for Australia club coaches.
