Harrassment
Harassment consists of offensive, abusive, belittling or threatening behaviour directed at a person or persons because of a particular characteristics of that person or persons
Types of harassment:
- Sexual harassment (direct or implied)
- Harassment on grounds of disability
- Discrimination as harassment
To avoid harrassment in your club we recommend developing a anti harassment policy. The policy should deter harrasment, ensure complaints are dealt with quickly, responsibly and effectively, provides a legal defence against vicarious liability, and it helps maintain a safe and healthy sport environment.
