“I think that the sportsmanship displayed by all players has been noticeably better than often observed at tournaments. I think this is due to the structure. So well done. He has definitely become more positive, enthusiastic and generally happier about his tennis as a consequence of being in Super 10s. He has also been receptive to taking on suggestions about match play which have improved his game. Last week I observed the camaraderie between players on adjacent courts as they cheered on their team. From my perspective it has been a very positive experience. National Talent Development Camp

“We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Tennis Australia for involving Dane in the tennis camp to AIS Canberra in June 2011. This was a wonderful experience for him, one that he is still talking about today.  It was fantastic for him to meet other young up and coming players from around the country and to spend time away with them and his coach.  He came home so excited, with so much positive feedback that we would not hesitate to send him away again if he is given the opportunity. We think these types of camps are very important in keeping these young players focused and enthusiastic. This camp in particular was very worthwhile and a valuable experience.”

“The National Talent Development Camp-AIS gave an in depth analysis of Sanyukta’s tennis game. This was a very motivating and inspiring event. Sanyukta met new fellow tennis players and made friendships with most of them. Recently in the National grasscourt championship she renewed her friendship with them and looking forward to meet them in future tournaments.

Talent Development Camps

“Just wanted to express our great appreciation for the tennis development weekend in Shepparton. Thank you and Tennis Victoria for giving our regional kids such a wonderful opportunity. It was a very encouraging and informative weekend for parents and a fantastic coaching experience for the kids. Thank you so much for your efforts, it was really nice to be acknowledged and listened to as regional parents of tennis children.
My son benefited a lot from the different coaches. He learned lots of new skills and much more. I can’t speak for the coaches, but they also seemed to be getting a lot out of the weekend and seemed to enjoy being able to get together with the other coaches.”
