11 February 2026 | Tennis West

The 2026 Regional Talent Series has kicked off across Western Australia, bringing exciting 12 and under competition to regional communities and spotlighting emerging tennis talent right across the State. The series, delivered by Tennis West in partnership with local clubs and key regional stakeholders, aims to create stronger competitive pathways and identify future stars of WA tennis.

So far, tournaments have been held in Broome, Narrogin, Geraldton and Bunbury, with players showcasing impressive skill, determination and sportsmanship on courts across the Kimberley, Wheatbelt, Mid West and South West regions. These events are part of a broader regional calendar that delivers accessible, fun and competitive opportunities for young tennis players across Western Australia.

Regional Talent Series continues with more tournaments scheduled throughout March:

  • York
  • Merredin
  • Katanning
  • Tenterden
  • Mandurah
  • Esperance

Each of these events will host 12 and under yellow ball singles competitions, with winners earning an invitation to the grand finale.

Winners from each Regional Talent Series event, both boys and girls, will be invited to the 2026 Regional Talent Series Final and Camp at the State Tennis Centre in Perth from 25 – 29 March. This event represents a unique opportunity for young players to train at a high-performance facility, benefit from enhanced coaching, and connect with the broader WA tennis community.

The final camp builds on the success of previous years and reflects Tennis West’s ongoing commitment to nurturing young talent across regional WA by providing engaging competitive environments and clear progression pathways.
