Tennis West is delighted to announce the re-election of Dr Pam Cresswell as President for a three-year term, following due process and a unanimous vote by the Board at its November meeting.
Pam was first elected to the Tennis West Board in 2019 and has since held key leadership roles, including Vice-President in 2022 and President in 2024. Her re-election follows her successful return as an Elected Director at the Tennis West Annual General Meeting on 28 October 2025.
Bringing over 15 years of executive leadership experience across health, education, and university sectors, Pam is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has served on several boards, including Alzheimer’s Research Australia. At Tennis West, she has led significant governance reforms, chaired the Governance, People and Culture Committee, and represented Western Australia on Tennis Australia’s National Governance Working Group and as a Member Representative.
Pam’s lifelong passion for tennis, as a player, club committee member, and administrator, underpins her commitment to shaping the future of the sport in WA. Her vision aligns strongly with the delivery of Tennis West’s 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, focusing on participation growth, club sustainability, commercial investment and strengthening stakeholder relationships.
“It is an honour to have been elected as President of Tennis West. I look forward with my fellow board members, CEO Olivia Birkett and the Tennis West team to ensuring we deliver on our key strategic goals for tennis and the community as a whole.” says Pam Cresswell.
