The entry lists for the upcoming ITF J30 Perth Junior Internationals have been finalised with a strong contingent of young WA players lined up to contest in the event. 

The ITF J30 Perth Junior Internationals is a tournament for players aged 18 and under with the aim to improve competitive opportunities and help develop players’ skills.   

In the women’s competition, Karin Hiramatsu goes in as the number one ranked WA player. The top ranked spot is well deserved after an impressive year so far. Hiramatsu won the 2025 WA Open and won the Karen Bucens Award at the Tennis West Awards Night in May. Hiramatsu also plays for last years premiers Hensman Park in the Women’s State League competition. 

Cottesloe’s Elena Manoj is also one to look out for after an impressive year thus far with results. Manoj won the 2025 Champion of Champions Singles title representing Cottesloe. Elena has been incredibly consistent, rarely losing a singles tie in last season’s Women’s State League. 

Dalkeith’s Isabelle Criddle has entered and has had an impressive start to her State League campaign, winning her last two singles ties. Claudia Shearwood will also contest having played for Royal Kings Park in the Women’s State League. 

There will also be a strong contingent of Junior State League players in the tournament with Sheryl Halim (UWA in both Women’s & Girl’s State League), Cottesloe pair Jasmin Heapes and younger sister to Elena, Mayla Manoj, while many others will look to contest as qualifiers to progress into the main draw. 

In the boy’s competition, Alexander Park’s Nemanja Savic goes into the draw as the number one ranked player. Savic has played multiple seasons for Alexander Park and has experience against quality opposition. Savic also played in the 2025 WA Open where he made the second round. He is closely followed by Men’s State League UWA pair in Ethan Reed and Ben Galvao who will both be a big chance to go far in the tournament. 

Also in the draw is Hensman Park’s Aidan Chan. Chan has represented WA and Australia this season and will be one to watch.   

Other up and coming WA players include Suyash Makesar (Greenwood), Sam Mitchell (Cottesloe) and Marc Sutisna (Cottesloe). Like the girls, the final spots in the main draw will be determined on Monday and Tuesday with the qualifiers where we will see more WA players vying for a spot in the main draw. 

The ITF J30 Perth Junior International begins on Monday with qualifying matches and the main draw starting on Wednesday.   

Featuring over 800 tournaments in 140 countries, the Tour sees players compete across six levels of tournament – from J500 through to J300, J200, J100, J60 and J30. The ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors provides a launch pad for the best players to go on and achieve success in the professional game. 

Entry is free for all spectators, and the cafe will be open for each day of the competition of the two ITF J30 Perth Junior Internationals.
