Tennis in the South West region of WA just got more exciting for young up and coming players with the launch of the South West Junior League for the upcoming 2025/26 summer season. 

Four South West regional clubs in Dunsborough, Margaret River, Bunbury and Busselton Tennis Club descended onto Bunbury Tennis Club on Sunday 19th October with the launch of the South West Junior League. 

The South West League comprises of four South West regional tennis clubs that will play across 10 home and away matches. The league features an Orange Ball, Green Ball and Yellow Ball league with a total of 18 teams playing. 

Tennis West Tennis Development Manager – South Marisa Gianotti was excited to introduce the league and work closely with the coaches of the clubs to get the league up and running. 

“The South West coaches have been massive drivers in bringing their respective clubs’ teams together.” 

“This league is a key part of Tennis West’s strategy, which focuses on aligning regional competitions with metropolitan pathways. It’s about creating meaningful opportunities for players across all areas of Western Australia and today marks the beginning of that journey,” said Marisa. 

The South West Junior League is supported by the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport and Tennis West extends its thanks for its ongoing support through the Regional Servicing Grant.
