Tennis West is excited to confirm that the Fuel to Go and Play Red Ball Competitions supported by Kinetic and MaxiBlock (RBCs) will return across Western Australia in Term 4 of the school year, running from late October through to early December (9am–2pm). 

The competitions, which are a key part of the tennis participation pathway, provide a fun, inclusive, and positive environment for primary school students to experience interschool match play. 

Metro Locations 

This term’s RBCs will be hosted at: 

• Wembley Downs – 31st October 

• Rangeview/Lesmurdie – 6th November 

• Sorrento – 14th November 

• Kardinya – 18th November 

• Corinthian – 20th November 

• Butler – 21st November 

• Ocean Ridge – 25th November 

• Mount Lawley – 28th October 

Regional Locations 

In addition, regional communities will also be well-represented with competitions confirmed in: 

• Dumbleyung – 24th October 

• Esperance – 24th October 

• Merredin – 29th October 

• Margaret River – 3rd November 

• Busselton – 4th November 

• Narrogin – 8th November 

• Geraldton – 27th November 

• Tarcoola Park – 28th November 

• Tenterden – 4th December 

• Collie – 12th December 

The Red Ball Competitions act as a first touch point of the game for many students, offering opportunities to represent their schools while enjoying a modified, team-based format that promotes both skill acquisition and sportsmanship. 

As well as encouraging participation from players of all abilities, the competitions also play a vital role in promoting long-term engagement with tennis. By highlighting the work of local Tennis West affiliated club coaches, RBCs create pathways for students to continue their tennis journey at a community club level. 

With Red Ball Competitions confirmed across both metro and regional WA, Term 4 is set to deliver another fantastic series of events that inspire the next generation of players.
