The Tennis West Awards Night, proudly presented by KC Australia us Tennis West’s prestigious event that celebrates tennis in Western Australia and recognises the outstanding achievements of our state’s junior and senior players, officials, coaches, administrators and volunteers. Guests on the night were also treated to a very special guest as Tennis Australia CEO Craig Tiley was in attendance and address the guests to provide insight on the season ahead and how tennis is thriving throughout Australia.

Tennis West CEO Brett Patten says the WA Tennis Awards Night is a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate the sport’s hard-working clubs, volunteers, coaches and players, congratulating all nominees and award winners on their achievements throughout the year.

‘Tennis in WA continues to go from strength to strength, and this wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our clubs, coaches, officials, volunteers, partner schools, local governments and players who remain committed to creating thriving tennis communities right across the state,’

“The rewards of these combined efforts are then realised through increased grassroots participation, accessible and welcoming tennis clubs, top-performing juniors who rank amongst the country’s best and WA’s professional players who continue to do us proud on the WTA and ATP tours,’

“None of this is possible without the contribution of everyone involved, and our awards night ensures these wonderful individuals are celebrated and recognised accordingly,” Patten said.

The dynamic duo of Talia Gibson and Taylah Preston took out the KC Australia Junior Player of the Year award. Both are ranked as the No. 1 female player in Australia for their respected birth years and both have had outstanding seasons.
