31 May 2022 | Tennis West

The first iteration of a new series of events delivered by Tennis West – the CEO Series – saw 30 significant members of the WA tennis community come together at the State Tennis Centre for a Friends of the CEO Brunch on Friday, 27 May. Members of the Tennis West Board, Life Members, tennis legends, coaches and Tennis West partners sat down for an enjoyable brunch where they heard from Tennis West CEO Brett Patten about the journey of Tennis West so far and what the future of the WA tennis landscape looks like.

Over delicious coffee and food, guests shared their thoughts and insights, asked thought-provoking questions and continued to explore ways in which tennis can thrive in Western Australia, drawing on their diverse experiences and perspectives.

Throughout the morning, Brett and the Tennis West team facilitated an open and positive forum to discuss the new opportunities moving forward, as well as sharing some insights into the past year. From player engagement and club support to government relationships and the State Tennis facility, a range of topics were explored and guests left with an astute understanding of Tennis West’s challenges, opportunities and vision to build thriving tennis communities, and support communities to be active, healthy, connected, sustainable and viable through the vehicle of tennis.

Thank you to all those who attended and we look forward to the continuation of the CEO Series in the coming months.
