The Operational Health Check is Tennis Australia’s national survey of Tennis Facilities.

The report provided to clubs delivers an assessment of performance in management, usage and financial sustainability over the past financial year.

With reporting always one year behind, the survey for the 2018/2019 financial year is available now for all clubs to complete.

  • Understand how a facility is performing against national medians
  • Compare a facilities result to it performance in previous years
  • Enable facility operators or clubs to:
  • Track areas of strength
  • Identify areas to monitor
  • Prioritise operational areas that need to be addressed
  • Support strategic and business planning
  • Deliver strong auxiliary information for grant applications

The Operational Health Check is a partnership between the University of South Australia (CERM PI), clubs and Tennis Australia.

The report provided is designed to benefit the operation and function of each club with raw figures from individual facilities remaining strictly confidential (with the exception of TA and TW access for the purpose of generating statistical information relating to participation in the sport.).

In 2017/2018 forty two clubs in Western Australia participated in this proactive initiative by Tennis Australia and completed an Operational Health Check survey.

The Operational Health Check is a major benefits of affiliation and Tennis West encourages all clubs to participate in the current round of surveys.
