Four new venues are going live with the Book a Court initiative. By the end of February casual tennis players will be able to access courts at Bassendean Tennis Club, South Perth Lawn Tennis Club, Maylands Tennis Club and the State Tennis Centre by booking online. A few simple clicks and these venues will become accessible to a new type of user!

The online booking system enables users to book and pay for courts via the website of the associated clubs. Payment for the court hire by credit card at the time of booking guarantees income for the club and eliminates the need for an honour box and bespoke key collection arrangements.

Evidence from the 75 existing venues with the system already installed across Australia is that clubs can anticipate additional income from non-member users of their venues. Plus, easier access to courts will mean more people will elect to play tennis.

The benefits of the Book a Court system are:

For Clubs For Players
  • Reduced administration for club volunteers
  • Increased revenue and a secure payment method
  • Sustainability of venues
  • Attract more patrons to your clubs
  • Improved booking process (provides; control, flexibility and freedom)
  • Greater security for players
  • Courts are able to meet the requirements of players, dependant on time and surface

Further enquiries regarding submitting an expression of interest for the next phase of the online court booking program can be made by contacting Places to Play Manager, Graeme Hall, at Tennis West on (08) 6462 8304 or [email protected]
