9 May 2016 | Tennis West

From the 9th to the 14th of April seventeen athletes from Western Australia travelled to Memorial Drive, South Australia for the 12s and 14s Grass Court Nationals. These athletes were accompanied by four talent development coaches, Tate Roberts, John Thorpe, Cameron Fenner and Simon Harper as well as State Coach & National Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach Len Cannell and Talent Development Manager WA Pablo Eguiguren.

This was a very well run event where some of the best athletes around Australia where able to join together in one venue to compete everyday in both singles and doubles allowing them to test their level and continue with their competitive development.

Congratulations to all WA athletes and in particular to Crystal Mildwaters for winning the girls 14s singles event and to Talia Gibson and Will Hann for putting up a great effort to finish in 2nd place.
