A tournament couldn’t ask for a better final! The doubles pairs, seeded one were well matched with the fourth seeds, delighting the fans with a match tie-break. Noppawan Lertcheekawarn (THAI) and Arina Rodionova  (RUS) won the first set 6-2. Monique Adamczak and Tammi Patterson then took the second set 6-3 to set up a match tie-break. Monique and Tammie were up 8-5 when Noppowan, former Wimbledon Junior Champion,  became a net nuisance, pouncing on returns and executing winning volleys. They won the next 5 points to win the match 10-5 in the match tie-break.

The singles semi-finals began with another good match seeing Kontaveit (EST) take care of Rodionova 6-1, 6-4.  Monique Adamczak lost the first to 4, then prevailed in the second in a sparkling tie-break after coming back from match point to even the set score. The American Irina Falconi sealed her final spot with a 6-3 third set.
