Toowoomba, QLD, 14 October 2019 | Asher Packman

Dayne Kelly has won his second consecutive Australian Pro Tour title, taking out the Hooper Accountants Toowoomba International on Sunday.

The unseeded Victorian recovered from a one-set deficit, eventually proving too strong for Jacob Grills (No.6), winning 1-6 6-3 6-0.

It’s been a successful fortnight for Kelly, 29, after he claimed the Brisbane crown last week. On the way to the final, he overcame challenges from Swiss Luca Castelnuovo, Canadian Martin Beran and Alexis Musialek of France.

Grills, 24, also enjoyed a solid week, moving past second seed Harry Bourchier courtesy of a retirement before ousting No.3 seed Maverick Banes at the semifinal stage.

Top seeds Scott Puodziunas and Brit Brydan Klein claimed the doubles crown, defeating Taiwanese Yu Hsiou Hsu and Vladyslav Orlov of Ukraine 6-3 6-4.
