St Raphael’s Catholic School has taken out the 2017 Todd Woodbridge Cup at Sydney Olympic Park.

Competing in a field of 20 teams from 19 schools, the Cowra school took out the annual NSW Primary School State Championships on Thursday 9 November.

In partnership with the Primary School Sports Association, the Todd Woodbridge Cup is an annual competition between grade three and four students in NSW, designed to encourage participation in tennis all while playing alongside teammates.

Almost all school sport regions from NSW were represented, after competing in regional gala days, with the final also including one team from the ACT.

The event was named after Australian tennis legend Todd Woodbridge who was on hand to present the winning teams on the day.
