Olivia Rogowska’s title at the Cairns Pro Tour event on Sunday has helped the Victorian secure an Australian Open 2018 qualifying wildcard.

A qualifying wildcard was on offer to the best-performed Australian woman across four $25,000 Pro Tour events, staged in Penrith, Brisbane, Toowoomba and Cairns.

Rogowska scooped the titles in Penrith and Cairns, as well as reaching the Brisbane semifinals, to finish well clear on top of the points table ahead of second-placed Kimberly Birrell, who won the Brisbane crown.

Rogowska beat Birrell in the Penrith final.

The 26-year-old Rogowska in January reached the final round of qualifying at Australian Open 2017.

Her best results at Melbourne Park were second-round finishes in 2012 and 2014.
